Character Biography[]
The titular victims are those stalked by a terrible living weapon created by the conspiring forces of Death and Fate. It was made to correct imbalances in in Fate created by mortal beings achieving immortality, forcing rewrites of the prewritten history for centuries. In cases where the immortal cannot be destroyed, the weapon creates an amount of death equal to the inordinate amount of life that has been hoarded, brutally slaughtering those chosen with the Mark of the Victim.
Powers and Abilities[]
The weapon observes invisibly from a separate plane, waiting until a victim is chosen and emerging suddenly into the world, frequently killing the target before they are even aware that something has changed. Only its arms are manifested, taking the form of gargantuan hands and long, snake-like limbs that erupt from the empty air. Their strength is enormous, and they will easily tear through anything between them and the target, even entire buildings, before vanishing again.
